Hey, Lovelies!

For this post, I had the opportunity to collaborate with my great friends, Bri from the Unprocessed Lifestyle Blog and Jaz from Le Haute Jaz, on such an important topic – How women can support one another. As Bri approached her 1 year anniversary of her blog she expressed that the topic was near and dear to her heart and figured why not collaborate with amazing women who support one another daily?

I couldn’t have agreed more, so here we are.

It was my pleasure and honor to be able to collaborate on this project because Bri is the EPITOME of a BOSS BABE. My girl wears a variety of hats ranging from a doctoral student, a friend, an entrepreneur, a blogger, a daughter, and one of her most important roles, a dedicated auntie and juggles it all with the most ease. Something I truly aspire to do. I admire her dedication to her craft, her work, and her extracurriculars. She’s a legit BEAST at this life shit.

Now, let’s talk about support.

I can’t even begin to explain how EASY it is to support one another. It doesn’t have to be the grandest gesture either. It could simply be sharing a post online to telling sis she has lipstick on her teeth. Women should be doing nothing but encouraging, uplifting, and inspiring one another to be better versions of ourselves. It’s sad that this has to be a topic of discussion but the reality is, some women can and will be haters and are plotting on the downfall of their counterparts. Either you’re the one plotting or the victim but either way, you should be doing SOMETHING to check that at the door. Envy isn’t cute and there is enough support and wealth to go around for everybody. No need to dim someone else’s light for you to shine.
